Adding Value:

We acknowledge the biggest investment to engage us is the audience’s precious time, and so we will seek to add value by way of offering a fully integrated service, knowing success happens as much off the stage as on it. This is how we add value:
  • Listening: By listening to your needs, outcomes and brief and tailor the session to the audience and conference dynamics. We are globally minded and culturally fluent, resulting in sessions that are always relevant and sensitive to both the local mindset and diverse audiences. We will talk about what’s relevant to your company, not about us.
  • Tailored design: By designing a session based on your brief and for its intended purpose.
  • Integration By integrating our session into the full conference, so everything flows and the whole learning experience becomes connected.
  • Balanced approach: By balancing motivation, research, narrative and business concepts based on your brief.
  • Original material: By presenting original material & ideas in an interesting, stimulating (often interactive) way, and that is suitable for the keynote platform.
  • Flexibility: By utilizing both the live face-to-face and the online virtual delivery platforms to take advantage of the chosen one. Rather than see the virtual offerings as a poor replacement to the live onstage conference events, we have added in a whole new level of experience using multiple tools to ensure interaction and involvement. Should an unexpected circumstance force a change, we can switch between face-to-face and virtual, as needed.
  • Blended learning: By offering the options of ongoing learning – both at the event (through Q&As, panels interviews, workshops etc) and post the event (eg with online blended learning, coaching, workshops etc)
  • Conference knowledge: By knowing what makes a professional conference. We can work with PCOs and others at the conference and know the industry well enough not to be high maintenance.  We understand professionalism in terms of audiovisual setup, staging and small touches that make a difference.

Intergrated Conference MC

A good Emcee can occupy the anchor role at a conference, once performed by personalities or comedians, but in a way that they do not attract the audience’s attention to themselves. Learn to summarize the previous presentation articulately, link it to the overall learning aims, revise delegate notes and pose insightful interview questions to the presenter. A great Emcee will enhance the ‘takeaway value’ of the presenters and reinforce the total conference learning experience.

What We Don’t Do Matters Too!

Defining our services means being clear about what we don’t offer — as well as what we do

  1. This is not just another job for us. This is our full-time work, we take presenting as a professional calling,
and it’s all we do. We won’t just walk in walk out. We will take the time to talk and meet up prior to understand your desired outcomes, and we’ll come early and stay on as relevant to be part of the full session and to ensure a seamless audience experience.
  2. We won’t bore or ignore the cynics. We present key information in a way that people will want to learn it. We believe that cynics are the most important people in an audience to engage (anyone can engage the converted!) We are globally minded and culturally fluent. We won’t present research or models without engagement – we acknowledge not everyone is as passionate about the chosen topic as the organizers, boss or presenters. Part of the role of a good keynote speaker is to convince the audience that this is important content. A key by-product becomes audience buy-in.
  3. We won’t simply entertain without clear outcomes. We are entertaining in our delivery approach, but it is as a means to an end – to reach the desired outcomes. We don’t rely on celebrity ‘wows’ (eg rags to riches or high achievers stories), our focus is on the audience. Our ‘Inspiration’ and ‘motivation’ are derived from both fascinating content and engaging methodology, which catalyzes the intrinsic motivation for each person in the audience. We won’t over hype –  we will engage, interact and motivate in an intelligent way rather than emotional manipulation.

Training:

Trainers refer to existing material or tell you stories about other people. Thus trainers must be good communicators and perhaps technical experts. Training is about developing a specific skill set, imparting knowledge. Training teaches people what or how to do something with little understanding as to why it is the case. (Education is about developing skills for ongoing learning and enquiry).

Design

Using Gen-AI Tools (LLM) for Targeted Instructional On-Ramping:

For more technically confident or homogenous groups, facilitators may introduce AI tools at a more tailored level. However, Tirian does not provide in-depth technical training, as AI fluency requires specialist knowledge, evolves rapidly, and varies widely across industries. To avoid ineffective facilitation or misalignment, this approach should only be used when facilitators possess equal or greater expertise than the group. It’s a strategic consideration not just for facilitation, but for sales and proposal alignment as well. Linear training also carries the risk of disengagement — experts may think they already know the material, while beginners may struggle to keep up.
